Hello.

Does anyone have the part number for a replacement indicator stalk, and any advice on how much I should expect to pay for a replacement / best place to get one from.

Doesn't stay on when indicating unless you hold for a while first.

Cheers :))

Might not be on yours, mine done the same, i pushed the rubber in a slot/ridge or two and it worked/stayed on etc as it should, the rubber was stopping it.

Or is yours worn?, i was looking at stalks to fit cruise control to my MW, id say around £15/£20 same as the Alfa 147?.

Ask this member i think he is breaking his.

Thanks for the reply. How do I push it in? Do I have to take anything apart? I wouldn't know how to check if it's worn to be honest?

Thanks Paul. Sorted, I think. Nothing wrong with the stalk, it is the rubber stopping it. Pushing it in made it worse, but taking it out sorts it. The rubber had gone all flimsy compared the other stalk so can I replace just that?

So, am I ok leaving the rubber completely off for MOT retest? Nothing wrong with the stalk just the rubber blocking it...

The rubber is not available separately..... Normal cure is to file the hole in the column shroud a little bigger top or bottom depending on whether it sticks when indicating right or left.

Thank you very much. If it won't fail MOT with it out, I'll do that afterwards as only have a few days left for free retest!
