Hello everyone!
I am the owner of a Fiat Stilo 1.2 , Model 2002 and I have the following errors on random times :
1. gas level indicator and tachometer reset and restore their state.
2. Asr problem
3. Front bulb failure
4. Sometimes engine fault blinks
5. Loose connection
6. Airbag failure (this is constant error)

At the point these failures appear , the car seems like it doesn't get enough fuel and stutters ( don't know the technical term for this ) and I hear clicking noises (relay?) behind the front panel.

Please if anyone has any experience with this , please let me know . I don't know what to look for !

Thank you in advance

Thanks for the reply. The battery is relatively new -6months and of good quality ,although I would like to know what a reliable way might be to measure it (with a multimeter).
Appreciate your answers!

Greetings !
I tested the battery and seems ok ! I have a feeling that this is caused by the oxygen sensor , or a faulty ECU. I am telling this because all the above erros appear if I try to rev the engine or slow down ( changing speed in general) . What are you thinking about that ?
Also is there a place I can download electrical manuals for my Fiat Stilo ?
Thank you in advance

Hello!
Like I said I have checked the battery and it turned out to be ok.I also performed a parasitic test and got 55mA.Also cleaned the main ground connection and the problems remain the same. I get Asr failure (I can hear its relay going crazy under dashboard - i even removed it but nothing changed) speedometer and gas level fall to zeo and back .These seem to occur when I change speed e.g by pressing the gas pedal to accelerate.. This is not likely to occur on steady speed.
What other tests can I perform? Please help! :(

When i had this problem on my 1.2 it turned out to be the dash clocks failing. I first noticed when at night (dark outside) and the car was locked the LED panel had a faint back light still on, also if i did not use the car for four or five days the battery would be drained. After a while i got the dash re setting itself 4-5 times a day. I took the dash out and sent it to Dash-Tec and they fixed it for £120. As i had no history of the battery and it had a 7 year old date on it i replaced that with a higher amp one. The car had been great since apart from a rear bulb waring (numberplate) what was legitimate as one had corroded connections. (y)

Thanks for the reply!I just came back from the service. Luckily it turned out to be a faulty ignition coil. All problems magically disappeared!!!
Thanks you for your replies!
