So I noticed the pedal really takes its time when responding, upwards of 1-1.5 seconds before the engine starts to rev after I press it, same when releasing. Makes switching gears a pain because I can't synchronize it properly.

I did a throttle body clean and relearn a while back, didn't help.

What should I look at? I have an OBD reader, anything I can check?

Check the guides section for cleaning idle control valve might not hurt to clean the throttle body too just in incase these are gunked up

Please let me know if you solve this as I've had the exact same problem for a year now and still not bottomed it. It's doing my head in. I changed throttle body, accelerator pedal and even MAF sensor. Still the delay.

Just thinking out loud - could it be a problem with the accelerator pedal potentiometer itself?
