hi i have a 1.9 jtd stilo and my air con compressor pulley bearing is noisy ive been told i can get a shorter belt to bypass this but unsure what size belt to use has anyone done this and know the size of the aux belt i need any help would be great thanks in advance

Im not sure about the layout on the 1.9 jtd but if it is anything like the 2.4 Abarth you cant bypass it, the aircon is twin pulleys and uses a stretchy belt to drive the alternator, as far as im aware its impossible to bypass it, you cant drive the alternator without driving the aircon.

BUT saying that , thats assuming the setups are the same and they may well not be, someone else with a JTD can likely answer this better.
