Hi all, long time no seen. Long story short, ordered uncoded used ECU with warranty. (self programming). No one was able to fix my car's random cut off, car security problems, not starting after cut off problems.
Hopping this will be the last major failure for a while

For the future generations that most likely, will be searching for info regarding Stilo faults
What ever i've done, it was just an delay ;D In the end, i bought a new* ECU (* - used, self programmable with warranty.) If anyone wonders it costed 220Eur with shipping. Bought from MLB-Service.

That is all for now, ill be going for a "joy" ride with my Stilo

Hi all my gremlins are getting loose everywhere, if anyone can help me get to the bottom of it, if I sit in idle my car will cut out after 5 mins with loose connection alt. fail same if i turn my car off and restart it and not get 2000rpm up in a minute, check alt output at 14.5v battery is showing 12.6v but no clue how old the battery is, but also had the odd case of car security failure and eml is now on even tho the car is not any different than before, ecu is located to battery box, not sure what is causing this gremlins episode and feeling like bashinh my head against the wall or blowing the stilo up, its a 1.6 active ac 16v 2003 3 door

You should read this thread from the beginning to the end, there are many suggestions from other members, and my own notes. It seems you're in the same boat as i was. But like i said before doing something drastic, please read this topic.
