Hi all,

Its been a while!

Recently had my car in the local garage for a coolant leak etc.

Whilst fixing it, the engineer said that the "rear lower gearbox mount" is loose and could really do with replacing. He claims to have called Fiat who told him they do not supply the part anymore.
Im happy to find the part from a breakers yard but...

1. He didnt know the part number
2. Described it as a "gearbox rear/lower link/stabiliser" or a "rear gesrbox mount".

In his words..."From memory its a metal peice with rubber bushes each end and is designed to stop the gesrbox moving around much under acceleration."

So basically im not entirely sure what part or part number to look for... i dont even know what it looks like!

Please advise...

Item 5 in this diagram is the 2.4 gearbox stabiliser. Part number is highlighted red but if you want to PM me your VIN, I'll confirm it's the correct one for your car.

Yes, but it's easy to make a mistake looking at that one. Easier to get it from the registration document (V5). It will begin with ZFA192

That is the correct one I posted above. Part number 46781894. Send a PM to Neil at Sturgess Motor Group he will have a more up to date parts catalogue than mine. He can tell you if it's still available and may have one in stock.
