I've been looking for someone to do the trail arm bushes on my 3 door. My usual guy is good but small and not that well equipped so when he winced at me asking him I knew I had to look elsewhere.

What do I have to do, where do I have to go and what questions do I have to ask to get this job done right for reasonable money? There are no specialists anywhere near me and the dealers are small and expensive so I wouldn't even bother asking them to quote.

I was thinking that maybe truck places might be better equipped for doing this kind of job in situ?

Thanks for reading

ideally you need the axle out. it is possible in situ but difficult.

a hydraulic press is a must. i tried removing with a hydraulic puller and maxed it out, tech spec for the puller said it was capable of 8 tonnes.

a press with 15tonne capability should be more than adequate for removal. when refitting it should take over 1.5tonnes of pressure according to fiat

heres the service bulletin
