Hi all. I was hoping I could get some advice about a couple of things...

Firstly, I need a new pass side headlamp. It's in schyte- lots of problems probably from people trying to avoid changing bulbs the long way. Lots of bit missing and broken, Do I have to remove the front bumper in order to change it out?

The clutch is on its last legs. I've never done a clutch before- am I dreaming to think about tackling this myself on the drive at home? I'm interested to learn but value my mental health and knuckles!!

The car has failed inspection on the rear bushes- I've read the guides and I'm not interested in doing the job myself. I just see a few things about ride height and aligning things up against welds- should I be worried about a pro mechanic not know about things peculiar to the Stilo or is all standard stuff to them?

Not sure what side is the headlight that needs replacing. Jack up the car remove the wheel arch and tackle it from the back. No need to remove the bumper. First time it takes an hour, once you know then half hour work.
Bushes, it is difficult and you need special tools. I will not do that myself but plenty of people on this site have done that and can offer you advice.
I suppose the clutch is clear cut if you know what you are doing but again you will get advice from this forum. Good luck.

Used OEM lamp or a new spurious? What do you reckon?

Thanks for the advice folks.

Perhaps I misunderstood. Do you want to replace the whole unit or just the bulbs?

A used headlamp will be OK, but check with whoever you buy it from that both of the white plastic adjusters on the back turn. Some of them seize so you can't adjust the beam. Also bear in mind that 3 and 5 door Stilo headlamps are different.

If you buy a cheap new headlamp, they don't usualy come with bulbs or the electric adjuster motor inside the lamp.
