General Key code card

we will charge ffoc members 12.50 +vat for per code

Excellent - was quoted £20+ vat yesterday from Lancashire, found the number on a Fiat card in my handbook...

I will be buying my code at the end of the month, need to recode the spare key and maybe my original key if it the memory is lost when swapping out the battery.

Hi All,

I have found a sticker in my handbook folder that says Keycode: and then a 4 digit number, will this be what I need to get my Key remote reprogrammed? Been looking around the forums and saw that a 4 digit code is used for 1 thing and a 5 digit for another... If not I will be using Sturgess Motor Group for a new code.

Thanks,
Lordy

Sounds like radio code, not key code.

The 4 digit code is for the radio.

The security code cards were not issued with UK vehicles at the request if the insurance industry, but look like the picture below. The electronic code is a 5 digit number used for the car's security system. The mechanical code is alpha/numeric and is used to cut a new key blade.

Ahh right, great choice of name on the label... haha, well thanks anyway, Guess ill be getting the key codes next month then, just been given a rough quote of £200-300 to have my clutch replaced (I have already bought the kit, just needs fitting) as it is clicking like hell when i press the clutch down.

Cheers

Clicking noise from the clutch pedal is usually caused by the 2 part plastic bush at the top of the pedal. There's a long thread about the problem here: https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/14491-clutch-pedal-click-clunk-squeak.html

I spoke to Neil @ Sturgess today for my codes.

Very impressed with them. I had them rapidly & it was a straightforward transaction. A copy of my V5, license & Paypal payment was all it took.

Bearing in mind Motor Mech quoted me £35 to get the codes, £15 (£12.50 + Vat) is an absolute bargain. I don't think you'll get the codes for your vehicle for less.

Thanks again !
