Hi, all!

First of all, I'd like to say that my english is not the best. So please forgive me for any mystake.

Let's start from the beggining.

My car was for a couple of months still because I went on vacation and when I came back my battery was completely dead (but the dashboard was still working). I took the car of my wife and connected both batteries. After I started my car and took a short ride, I could notice that the speed showed on the dashboard was not correct at all. I was on third gear, driving on 40km/h and on the speedometer was saying that I was driving around 60km/h and when I gave a little gas, I was above 90km/h.

Everything in my car is original. So I don't have different tires or something.

Do you guys think that that could be a fuse or a problem on my ECU?

I found something like that here, but it was a very old thread and I didn't want to revive it.

I hope to hear from you soon.

How long was your car not moved/touched, two weeks? I say your battery is on its last legs anyway but how do you know your speed is wrong are you guessing or using a sat nav? At 130kph on the clock my 1.2 will is doing 120 on the sat nav so dont think your speedomiter is true.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply!

I was not guessing. It was too obvious it was showing double speed and besides that I also used an APP on my mobile called Ulysse Speedometer. My car was idle for more than two months, almost three, but it seems that it's solved. Yesterday I took a short ride again, just to double check and for my surprise it was ok again.

Thank you!

Admins, problem solved and you can close this thread (I don't know if I can do it).
