Hi guys, need to replace battery on my 1.9 diesel stilo sporting. Have looked at the appropriate new ones in Halfrauds, but they don't have the 2 holes in the top to secure fuse box with the 2 screws as on my existing battery. Am I ok to screw into new battery ? has anyone else replaced battery on Stilo with this fuse box fixing ? Thinking of using adhesive Velcro strips ( don't want to wreck new battery ) !!!!

Changed my battery on the 1.2 a few month back. I remember snapping a bit of red plastic that screws went in to so a chucked it away. Car is still running fine. As long as you get a good grip of the pole then you should be fine

Hi all, just collected my new Bosch battery today - panic over - there are holes in the carry handle of battery for the 2 screws, handle flush against top. Simples !
