hi, after looking at the abarth and the other models the abarth stands out with an alarming rate, looks so smoother etc, apart from the colour coded parts what are the differences? ive seen an abarth body kit in the brio catalogue( the old kit) but they look exactly the same as the one that comes standard on the stilo, am i correct is there somthing i cant see? oh and ofcourse the badges are differnt.
thanks alex
ps.differences only on the outside btw!

Hello mate!

The front and rear bumpers are identical really. The Abarth gets nice side skirts but even these may be available on some models.

The main visual difference is the colour coded bump strips but even these could be replaced or painted.

It's actually very difficult to tell the difference, until you look under the bonnet! :D Or, inside on a Selespeed version.

Guys, anything else obvious that I've missed?

The view of the exhaust as it disappears into the distance :D
Mmmm, not sure the 'limp dick' is something to boast about! But a Supersprint, now that's different! (y)

On the interior side the driver of the Abarth is usually quite scruffy as fuel costs don't allow them to spend a lot on clothes. The JTD driver on the other hand looks like a vogue model.
LMAO! :D

...yeah, but this is all part of the disguise. Other drivers just don't see us coming! (y)

The abarth also has little abarth badges everywhere on the exterior

Not unless you add them yourself ;)
It has one small one on the rear... the rest you buy from Greg @ abarthbadges (y)
(just received mine in the post yesterday... thanks Greg!)

Does it not have them on the skirts then?
Nope... well, not the ones you get here... I've seen in photos of BenR's abarth that he has them on the side... maybe he can enlightten us?

Ben, did you fit the abarth badges to the sideskirts yourself, or does it come standard with them in the UK?

Looking at NeilC's avatar he has an abarth badge behind the side indicator light... but nothing on the skirt. (7 posts before this one)
Mine doesn't have that...

I was looking at Neils just after my last post, does appear the abarths dont have the badge on there skirts, and i didnt even notice the ones behind the side repeaters

They don't. The only badge the Abarth comes with (if you are lucky) is the Abarth badge on the boot lid.
