| A question for all you abarth owners I am thinking about changing my 1.6 for an abarth. The only thing that is stopping me at the moment is the difference in MPG. How many miles do you tend to get out of a full tank of petrol. Obviously it depends on driving style etc but I just want an idea. Cheers

| Banned | Re: A question for all you abarth owners Not being funny or anything but if you're concerned with fuel costs don't buy an abarth! Get a JTD. Buying an abarth isn't really about how much you get to a tank of fuel, it's about the ownership experience( sounds conceted I know! ) Just for the record I average around 28mpg but that's mainly commuting on a dual carriageway & backlanes.

| All Hail the Woodsman | Re: A question for all you abarth owners Yeah, forget the Abarth if you have any worries about fuel consumption, that's for sure! It now costs me virtually £50 to fill the tank and lasts about 3 days Does an average of @29mpg on a combined cycle (80% motorway/A road & 20% town type driving)If you can afford the fuel you won't regret it

| Peek a boo! | Re: A question for all you abarth owners I average at about 22 MPG... but that is mainly because I get in the car and drive it hard... ![]() Oh, that includes mainly motorway driving, if I stay off the motorway, I get more than 26 MPG.

| Re: A question for all you abarth owners About 24mpg in town - much less ie 18 mpg with the aircon. Up to 30mpg on motorways even at "higher" speeds when steadily cruising. Need a mortgage to fill her soon but it's damn well worth it.
