Hi there folks
I'm new in here, so sorry if the solution is already in the forum.
But could not find anything about this one.

Have at Stilo 18. from 2001 and just under the glove compartment in the corner where the door opening is, there is hanging a wire or actually 3 with a Black flat connector .

Does anyone know what this is for?

Thanks Johnny

maybe some connector for lamp in glove box ?
or even the connector for airbag maybe, or deactivation keyswitch on dash side.

It very much looks like a connector to something, but if it was the airbag (or any part of the SRS system) there would be an associated warning light I would think. (I'm of course assuming the OP would have mentioned it if there was)

Something like glove box light seems more likely, unless it's working of course!

Well.. The clov box light works just fine.
But airbag warning has in fact just went on...

But can't se, where it is surpose to be connected.

Is the airbag wires not yellow, very thin and with orange connectors?

TBH I'm not sure about the gauge or the colour coding, somebody else may be, just seems a wierd co-incidence the SRS light has come on, though that said it should realy have come on from the outset of you finding the wire disconnected.

Can you get the glove box out?

I have to get som special bits for the screws i think, but try to buy those tomorrow

Had the top/upper clovebox out today and behind this i could not see anywhere where the connector should fit.

But maybe behindthe loower box, there is something, that is disconnected
*But as i know, everything is working, exept for the airbag warning :)

If everything was working correctly prior to you searching for the missing counterpart connector. Is it not possible that you have caused the airbag fault?
Try cleaning the orange airbag connector in the glove box compartment and if your light extinguishes you're good. Then leave well alone!

Remember the adage - If it ain't broke don't fix it!
