Hi all

I have read through and now confirmed that connectnav does not recommence cd where it left off Someone said there was hope that it would come in a firmware upgrade. I've got 9.9 did it change in 11 as if not I can't be bothered to update as after having first play with nav this morning thing will only ever use stereo.

Also any definitive answer on best/easiest iPod connector and would this recommence where it left off?

Cheers

Off to tell hubby no it's not a big thing but plenty of people (not just girls) have moaned about it!

CD restarts at beginning. Does software up grade fix?

Ahh I see now cheers. CD's, are you in the dark ages woman

Buy a yatour MP3 player and be done with it. It has a 3.5mm jack socket for external MP3 players/mobile phones also.

I don't see what was complicated but hey ho.

Yes maigretnz exactly what I meant

Gpz750. That was the second part of my question which connector works reliably? Give me chance I only just got the car! I've seen yatour, xcarlink, Denison and loudlink mentioned just wondered which gives the least hassle with the connectnav?

I can only say for the yatour. If your standard sat nav unit has the same disc changer port as my CD unit has then its just plug and play. My unit only has one digit for CD numbers, IE CD1, CD2 etc. so I can only put 10 folders/albums on a SD card or USB stick. Your unit may see more if lucky. I used the 3.5mm jack port with a mobile and mp3 player and it worked perfect I am yet to put my sat nav in it but I cant see a problem. Only real downside is it only says track one, two, three etc rather than what album/song is being played.

OH. It remembers the last song played and if you switch the car off at song 5 1:45 seconds in then when you turn it on again it starts at 1:45 seconds.

You could just get a MP3 unit if you are not bothered about the sat nav. Not this one as its crap but along the lines of this.
