Hello

I've had cream leather seats and door cards fitted into my Stilo Active. I've been wanting leather for a while now and I found these on ebay for a good price so I got them! They are in very good condition but just need a clean. I also got an armrest but I need the metal mounting bracket so that will be fitted another time. Anyway here they are (y)

Hello

I have a serious but unusual question! Can car leather seats make a funny sound when there old or dry? Theres a sound coming from the rear seats like leather rubbing against something when i'm driving. I far as i can see there is nothing loose, rattling against or rubbing against the seats. Could it be the age or dryness and the leather is sort of making this sound?

Thanks
Phil

Hi Phil,

Did you fit the interior yourself? I've not long bought a 2 tone full interior with door cards and the arm rest, and I was looking for a fitting guide of sorts? Any help would be great, many thanks

Hello Dan. I didn't fit them, my mechanic did it all. However he did say that the seats were very easy to fit. It was just a matter of bolting the seats in. With regards to fitting the door cards i think they are held on by screws and clips. As for the armrest there is a guide on the forum.

Sorry i can't be more helpful.

Thanks Phil, I'll have a look for the armrest guide when I come to fitting the interior ?

My rear seats have started making an annoying leathery creaking noise when driving. I've moved the seats back and forth and reclined the back rest which improved it slightly. I've also put a length of polishing cloth in between the 2 sections where they split. This have also helped. So i'm guessing my leather seats are rubbing against each other. I've read other peoples issues on other forums. People say to clean and treat the leather, so would that stop it? I take it leather gets dry and makes a noise with another part...? I don't think anything is catching against any plastic trim.

I know i've mentioned this further up but it does seem to be the seats and just wanted some advice/tips.

Thanks
Phil
