Hello i have a stilo with climate control. The fan will not get to high speed. Well it does very occasionaly then goes back to slow speed again. It was thought the panel was faulty it was replaced with a second hand one but it was the same. Now the motor resistor is thought to be the problem. But we don't know where it is. If someone could let me know where it is or weather you think there is another fault. Thanks John

Hello ..climate control type heater fan does not have a resistor pack to replace and will require a replacement fan, had same fault on mine and replaced with secondhand item which fixed the problem, if you do a search you will find some good information on climate fan changing, obviously check connectors at fan first
for now all I can say is that there are two different model fans for climate model bosch and siemens can not remember off hand but one requires extending the wires if fitted, had to do it on mine and made sure I used correct gauge wire to avoid a fire hazard
Do not get a fan that is not of the climate control type as this will not work

My mistake on makes of motors for the fan they are actually Denso and Siemens, not sure which one requires the extend wiring I think but not certain it is the siemens type,,which if not done yourself with correct gauge wire can be obtained with the fan or seperate item if I recall correct from fiat,, as said I went for a used item and did the wiring work myself.

Lots of info in the links below if you not already found them on fuses, relays and fan removal procedure... though feel it will be your actual fan in the end,,, not to bad to do if you been doing lumba classes recently as it does kill your kneck getting to it and remember only climate type fan for your replacement
