I downloaded the multiecuscan.net software for my Stilo.
I plugged in the lead and a notification came up saying "installing device drivers" and then "hardware not installed" or something along them lines.

I tried removing it and replacing the plug, but now nothingg comes up. Just the annoying little blip blip sound when I plug or unplug it.

How do I locate the correct drivers for the lead?

How would we know. What brand is the lead and have you tried the manufacturers web site?

The Drivers have nothing to do wit MES.
It's just that the PC does not know how to communicate to the hardware you have.
Open "Device Manager" and see what is the usb to serial converter. ....you should see something popping up when inserting the usb of the interface It should be something like "Prolific" or "FTDI" .
Take screenhots and post back so we can help.

Do this without connecting anything to the car.

What version of windows are you using?
