Morning all.
Was looking under bonnet yesterday and found this loose connector next to battery and im wondering if any of you have any ideas what its for

It's probably for connection to some feature that your car wasn't built with (but had the wiring in place for)...

thats what i was thinking, but id be curious as to what feature that may be :)

on a related note is their any way to retrofit cruise control at all on the stilo
 
Yellow Peril is probably right.

It's cheaper to produce a wiring loom that has capability of connecting every possible feature/upgrade available on the car model. I can't really tell what this exact connector is used for though.

It's almost always possible to fit an after-market cruise control. If you want the 'original' Stilo cruise control, then that should be possible too, though I'm not sure if it's something you can do yourself easily.
 
i want to say its for the alarm module, but in reality i honestly dont know. i have it on mine and its blanked off like yours. if i could be bothered to trawl through the wiring diagrams i might be able to narrow it down more but ill be honest... even i dont care enough to know to make the effort.
