After a day of searching and testing, the car is still messed up

First we checked the crankshaft position sensor, it was not very dirty, but the gap was about 2mm, so we reduced that gap as much as we could.
For a moment we thought the car was back, but it couldn't run idle for a minute without shutting off. Different faults showed up, but nothing I haven't seen before. Most of the time the car would just die as if I turned the key, without any errors.

I decided to place the 'old' ECU in, which I had baked in the oven.
Reset every parameter it had, did a few tests (coils, pump-relays, etc.) and finally a zero'ing of the actual crankshaftsensor. I had to rev the car 3 times to 6000rpm before it relearned it's values.
We checked several other components, timings etc, everything was working as it should.

Took her for a spin and no errors showed up, but the car is still driving quite poorly:
- Idle is quite bumpy, as the car tries to keep a very low idle-rpm of about 650/700.
- When letting go of the throttle, the car bounces a few times.
- When driving in 2nd gear, trying to maintain about 2000rpm, the car seems to dip in RPM.

Only drove her home, so there isn't really much for certain. However I'm still quite certain that the errors will come up later on.

In the meanwhile I am looking for another car, I don't know if there's anyone located in the Netherlands that wants to take her off my hands, willing to spend time/money into fixing the problem. Or willing to help sort this problem, that would even be better.

I'll post again when the faults are back. In the meanwhile I hope someone recognizes the problems with this car, and can give some hints or possible solutions.

I just pulled fuse F19, as I read somewhere that a faulty aircon pressure sensor could cause a voltage-leak to ground.

Does anyone know why my AC is still working after pulling the fuse?

The car will be gone next Wednesday, I'll be receiving a Mazda MX5 in return.
As you'd expect the car didn't show any problems during the drive to the dealer.

I would like to thanks those who shared their knowledge with me, I've learned a lot about the Stilo thanks to this forum.

So everyone: Cheers and thanks a bunch!

I have the same problem that you describe. It occurred for the first time right after I replaced the ECU and relocated it. When I release the gas pedal the car sort of judders and stalls. When accelerating in second gear it also judders and hesitates. I put another earth wire from the old mount to the ecu and the hesitation in 2nd actually got better. But that stall/brake action when releasing the gas pedal is really annoying. Did you order your reconditioned ECU from these guys on ebay:
