i have a stilo 1.6 16v with a few issues and wondered if anyone els experienced them and could help...

1. while moving and engine warm when hit 4k revs its choking and stuttery with no much power but get passed 4k and its fine again... cause/fix?

2. is it just me or are stilos VERY thirsty?

3. if drive normal sound as a pound but boot it a few times and altinator starts ticking? cause/fix?

any help would be great thanks

2 - No not normally when compared to other similar sized cars, seems 3 may be your issue with 'booting' it

could be lol my last car was a ****ty 1L so a big jump and difference in fuel I suppose

Probably. I know I noticed the difference in fuel use going from a 1.0 panda to my 1.4 Stilo a few years back.

still need help on the 4k issue anyone?...
