Just had the car up, appears my front NS shock absorber has relived itself of fluid, hence the knocking noise.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a shock absorber brand?
It's a 3 door 1.9jtd. I want to keep the same ride height and stiffness. The car is for comfort, not performance.
Also, I had a new wheel bolt fitted, same length as my others, just threaded the whole way which is chewed to pieces. Any ideas why? It didn't feel over tightened.

Quick look on eBay, I currently have a pair of Sachs on the car. Not even sure if these are oem spec.

Koni yellows? Bilstein? Pricey, but will perform well.

Were they a comfortable ride? As comfy as standard?

Where did you buy them from at that rate?

as far as that bolt , take out another original bolt and check the overall length from the taper head.
especially if its on the front a slightly too long bolt can catch on the backside if they poke through too far.
