Hi Folks,
Was really hoping that my first post wouldn't be a I need help with a common problem post. But having tried to solve my problem via searching and looking through the how to guides im left with little choice.
Picked up my first Fiat the weekend being a lovely 04 3dr stilo dynamic 19 16v JTD, some silly niggles which ive made my way through over the course of the week... and now im faced with the mammoth task of trying to get the skyroof working.
The cut a long story short, its dead.. the switches emit light and having checked them with a multimeter there is power getting to them, however neither sky roof, or cover moves! Ive spent 2 days ringing around breakers and working examples seem to be like hens teeth.
Because neither motor works (I am right to think theres 2 motors involved) I find this a little suspect.
Could anyone give me a pointer or two on how to test further, or tips on how to get it out, or better still fill me in on knowledge on where to get a working roof I would be massively grateful.
regards
Ian
