Hi Chaps,
I'm looking at installing a double din HU with DVD and SATNAV. The dimensions I got are
178 x 160 x 100mm.
Anybody have any idea if this unit would fit as I don't want to order it for it to be too big/ too small. Im aware I need to buy a new fascia and possibly a new fitting kit.
Any of you guys have any experience fitting double dins, would be interested to see photos.

Ive fitted a few in my time just not to the stilo, but Im planning on doing exactly what your doing next month


Usually fitting kits address any fitting issues, manufacturers will try n throw odd shapes onto OEM stereos but this is usually just the facia, the actual unit is a standard DIN or Double DIN, I picked up a Double din fitting kit for our cars for about £11 off fleabay and it came with an ISO lead

Ok thanks for that mate, I plan on fitting a new double din HU and I've got a 12" active sub to pop in, got ideas for fitting a 'missile' toggle switch somewhere on the dash or centre console to be able to turn the sub on and off. Just hope I don't hit too many problems with the HU!
