Hi all, ive got the dreaded loose connection warning on my dash....first of all I have abs light,handbrake light, a triangle with a circle around it, speedo not working but rev is working and then driving last night low oil pressure then it cut out....please help! What can I do to fix this problem? Is my ecu buggered?

Also I have the engine management light on aswell..

Many electrical errors often indicates low voltage. Check battery clamps and earth strap.

Get a load check on battery.

Plug in a cable and MES software to monitor battery voltage in real time and find out what the errors are in detail.

If you want a quick cheap option I also have a wireless OBD plug $NZ25 ebay (12GBP) which I can connect my iphone to with OBD fusion App $NZ13 (6GBP). This will give you error codes and readouts of voltage etc.

I had a new batt last month from the AA

I have a 1.6 and it has just done the very same though mine was saying coolant temp and the gauge went max red light beep beep beep. alternator failure, asr failure, abs failure, loose conection....
checked v+ when running, all good, still cutting out and going crazy.
Disconnected ecu plugs from ecu atop of engine, blew out with air duster, sprayed with contact cleaner, put them back on and all seems o.k
