Anyone with access to fiat test procedures for queeries involving injector correction values of jtd and jtdm injectors 16v if it makes any odds.
We have values floating around the net of +/-0.9 for earlier injectors and 0.6 or 0.7 for later jtdm injectors.
I have always monitored cold start values but taken little notice as usually over 1 to 1.5 or more, but soon settles to around 1 or less and sometimes very good at .3-.5 when warm at idle.
We also see info that they are to be revved to 2000rpm when checking value, this actually reduces the value even more so i prefer the warm idle as a worst case.
Anyone with access could look into fiat test procedures , values and conditions it would be great to have facts.
If it helps fault that may lead to test injectors might be lumpy idle , excess smoke , metallic knocking from injectors, etc.
Also would fiat techs do a leak back test at all and if so what info i available for that, mls per min at idle for example and then mls at a held revs per min.
