Could someone please point me to a good lowering thread, or better still give my advice from your own experience, on which is the best method to allow a stilo to corner.

thanks,

Good springs like EBACH are a great start and will make a difference even on standard shocks or if your pockets are deeper you can go for some shocks too. I've got an EBACH - bilstien set up on mine and it handles very well indeed. But for the ultimate set up you can fit some braces. I've got a top strut one a rear lower one and a front lower subframe one and they really do stiffen the chassis up. :)

i concur the ebachs are probally the best and they are a lot cheaper now.
I used to have them on my 5 door but now wouldnt even think of lowering, i found the ride too hard even though it did stick to the road and looked prettier.
I replaced my suspension last year all round with originals and am very happy with the level of comfort now, i no longer need to stick to the road with my bus with 3 kids in the back. Also the roads are now just too bad to lower imho.

What Gadge said.

I had a set of Eibach pro-kit springs put on my car the other month, they make a pretty big difference. If you have a bigger budget then get yourself some Bilstein shocks to complement. Don't forget about tyres too, premium rubber will make a huge difference.

I have a set of Apex-30s on my car atm , it has made A little Diffrance to hight wise , Im sure i payed £90 for all 4 , two fronts and Two Rears ,

It took my about a morning to Change Every thing over , The aPex Springs Are Realy Good

Dont fogoet to Uprate your Shocks too , I just put New "repated" dampers on
