I have stilo active , 1.2 , 16v ,, I have AZEV alloys ,, they have 215/45/16R ,, cant seem to find , right pressure ,, ( been told from 26 , upto 35 ???? ,, ( someone said 32 all round ,, ) seems too light on steering ,, ( anyone actully know ) , many thanks
 
That must be a wrong dimension. You will be travelling pretty slow compared to other vehicles?

In any case, tyre pressure is objective.

Depends on compound quality, ride comfort, wear and tear of the car in general, driving style, load and place of load, caravan pulling, outside temperature (winter?), steering precision. And so on.

Could be anything between 1.8 to 3 bar.
 
Search the tyre manufacturer's web site, they should have a listing. Told by Bridgestone that pressure is more relevant to the tyre than the vehicle as each tyre is designed to work best at a particular pressure, often different to the one the car manufacturer suggests.

Both Continental and Vredestein recommend higher pressures for my Panda than Fiat do, and it rides and handles so much better on the higher pressures.
