Hi all, I am looking to replace my engine bay fuse box on my 2004 1.2 16v Stilo Active....its looks as though they are pretty few and far between on breakers sites. I have found a near identical looking one but its for a 2002/3 1.6 16v stilo......would this be compatible? thanks in adance :)

evening

the best advice i can give you from what i have read on here is, have a look at your fuse box with what little & big fuses you have and also relays and compare to the one your looking at. try and get the same year and same type of spec.

failing this theres a guide on how to clean you fusebox, if its corroded etc.

here:

i have got to do mine and i know what you mine about finding them. i watched swirl do his the other day, the guides you best friend and some pcb/contact cleaner

thanks Paul.....I tried cleaning/drying my fuse box out after water got in......using compressed air, hair drier and electronic grade cleaner.....unfortunately it looks as though the circuit board has been damaged by the water. The box I have seen looks near identical barring two of the large black fuses.....the sockets appear to be there though

Is worth trying what Mr Paul advised above with the link to taking the fuse board apart, more so if you are having problems getting a replacement .as you have nothing to loose in having a look to see if it can be repaired,, had water problem in mine once and sorted it by taking apart and cleaning the small part of the board that had shorted out with some fine emery paper, lesson learnt never leave the fuse/battery cover off.

Just make sure you take a pic of the board before removing fuses/relays to help re-fitting and place them in an order on table that makes it easy to remember to re-fit them,,plus as you have had water in the board best to check all fuses as you may have blown one if you had water in the area.
