I have searched the forum, but not found matching post.

The MIL went on when driving my Stilo 1.6 16v from 2003 at 70km/h where after the engine lost power. I pulled over and stopped the engine, since the engine sound was unusual.

Now, the situation is as follows:

1) The ECU reports P0300 and P0302, indicating misfire
2) The engine will idle for some seconds, before shutting down
3) The engine sounds unusual

Oil level is ok.

Tips on what could be the problem are appreciated.

Misfire on cylinder number 2. Try swapping the coil to another cylinder to see if the problem moves to another cylinder. New plugs if they look a bit old.

P0300 Random Misfire
P0302 Cyl.2 Misfire

as said, usual suspect is coils...
