I seem to remember something about a recall on them on the early cars which both of ours are. I never managed to find out if mine had been done though and due to the crash the year before, it was likely that caused the issue.

hmm i dont think they would change it now for free!. so if i just put a neg/earth cable and switch it that will put the fan on full speed. and wouldnt spring the engine fault message if shes kept cool?. searching for a 2001/2 breaking jtd on ebay. thats if they work!
