I had the dreaded red airbag light permanently on. I suspected the 'known' faulty OCS passenger seat mat and purchased an 'emulator'. I fitted this but my light stayed on and this is the reason for this post. I checked the connectors under the passenger seat and in the boot above the rear wheel arches but the light remained.
One connector rarely mentioned in threads is the ORANGE connector under the DRIVERS seat. After a little jiggle the light disappeared. A clean with electrical cleaner (after all safety procedures followed of disconnecting battery) and the light is now off.

They are as mentioned, in the glove box, two in the boot, two at the rear seats, two (not orange) in the B pillars, and one for each front seat.
