Hey all
I hope someone can help me.

The car - Stilo 1.4 95Hp 3 door

OK here's the situation

A few weeks back I get error P0130 - lambda sensor - bank 1 sensor 1 so I replace it with a generic lambda sensor, clear the error code and everything is fine for a few days, probably just due to the ECU reset of the battery being disconnected. I use the Torque app (excellent bit of kit by the way) and a bluetooth ELM327 to get/reset error codes.

Then I start getting random flat spots in acceleration again (I had them before I replaced the lambda), usually in the mid range of the revs around 3000 - 3500 at speed (feels like the engine is suffocating), so I go for a long drive with Torque app running away reading both the lambda sensor voltages and notice that when I have a flat spot the lambda bank 1 x 1 sensor is stuck at 0.4v and ain't moving at all for ages, 5 minutes plus, then it'll suddenly come back to life. When it's stuck I try taking my foot off the gas, it should go to 0.1v or 0.0v but it stays at 0.4v.

Now I've gotten error P1135 - lambda 1 x 1 heat coil low voltage.

I also have rough idle, especially when warm and I've cleaned the ICV and have replaced all 4 ignition coils a few months back as I have 116,000 miles on the clock, did the spark plugs at the same time. The head gasket was replaced last October, caught it early before any damage and got the timing belt and water pump done at the same time.

Is it possible that the generic lambda is just rubbish and I should just bite the bullet and buy a Bosch Lambda sensor or could it be something else?

Cheers in advance..
I love my car, :bang: I love my car, :bang: I love my car :bang:
