| Marea Weekend or Stilo Multiwagon? I have had 2 Marea Weekends, and much enjoyed the comfort and particularly the speed of the 2.0 20v 155 HLX. However my Marea is getting near the dreaded cambelt replacement time. Should I pay or should I go? I plan to testdrive a Stilo 1.9 JTD Multiwagon next week, but on paper it's so much slower than my Weekend, though I have read with interest the posts about Angeltuning and remapping. Has anybody made the switch from the Weekend to the Multiwagon? Any opinions would be welcome.

| Re: Marea Weekend or Stilo Multiwagon? I have had the 1.8 Diesl ELX. Now have the MW but I have not had it remapped. 115BHP version. Quite alot of differences between the two. So go for the Stilo

| Re: Marea Weekend or Stilo Multiwagon? The Stilo is a more refined car, besides, with Angel tuning you can get the same 155 HP out of it, with better fuel economy. Also, if you change the exhaust, you can get 170 HP out of it. Pretty nifty if you ask me.

| Re: Marea Weekend or Stilo Multiwagon? I've just changed from a 2.0l 155 hlx marea weekend to a 1.9 jtd multiwagon. Amazing savings in fuel and running costs. Tax is cheaper at £115 for the stilo. MPG is around 42 on average. Servicing will also be cheaper. Yes it is a bit slower and i have not had mine tuned yet. Handling also takes a bit of getting used to. Go for a dynamic rather than the active if you get the chance. Boot space is as good if not slightly better than the marea. Make sure you get one with service history. And no dreaded red key to worry about! Adrian.
