Hi all, I replaced the clutch slave cylinder on my 02 Fiat Stilo 1.2 around 2 months ago and today the rod has snapped again. Is this just because the plastic rod on the OE parts are weak or could there be something else wrong with the car?

its possible you got a defective part but more than likely you have issues elsewhere. sometimes clutch mechanisms can become stiff and this puts extra load on the components in the system. they will fail at the weakest point which would be the plastic rod.

unfortunately the only way to really source a stiff/sticky clutch is to have the box out and inspect all the clutch components
