Hi everyone
Just recently on some occasions when I turn the ignition on my stilo I get a message saying "check engine", "oil pressure is low switch off engine" or "excessive coolent temperature switch off engine". Now I'm getting these messages randomly often when the car has been stood for a few hours. I've read that getting messages could be due to a faulty battery. It's a 1.6 sport active 3 door which I've had for a month and it has done 71000 miles on a 05 plate. It drives beautifully and is not dropping power. Could it be a case of buying a new battery or is it something more sinister?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
