I keep reading about the Fiat ecu scan and I can see that all you need is the software and a KKL lead off E-bay ? where can I get the software ? I am looking to get the fiat ecu scan and lead ? but i have seen that you can down load off the internet a free fiat ecu scan download but what will it let you do ?
Can anybody help ?

It's now called multiecuscan -- and you can download the free version, and read more about its functionality, here.

For the Stilo, you'll need an ELM327 cable. Some of the cheap ones may require modification to work; you can get a reputable one from Gendan.co.uk. I also recommend the coloured adapter cables (red, green, yellow) from the same place.

What will it do? Just about everything that FIAT examiner can do, except immobiliser key coding. Engine, gearbox, body computer, proxy alignment, steering, ABS, airbags, climate control - but don't expect to be able to remap anything!
