Hello,
I would like to ask if its possible to re-postion aftermarket 1din radio to the ashtray place (Since i have no use to it). I Want to install a 7inch tablet pc to the car and also would like to have control of head unit. Does anyone knows if there is enough space IN THE BACK to fit whole 1din radio in ?
Also any pictures of Fiat Stilo without center dash would be awesome

I doubt very much that there is I remember taking mine out once and I don't remember there being a lot of room back there. However have to considered using the upper glove box? On certain models they were fitted with a 5 disc multi changer which was a single DIN unit. You can still buy the glove box compartment inner adaptor from the likes of eBay

But then there's a problem, to control the new head unit in upper glove box, you would need to stop the car to adjust settings Multi steering wheels won't allow to etc adjust bass.

I would probably start thinking about in-car pc, and a new head unit would be controlled with help of touchscreen (replacement of tablet)

As Above, No room behind the tray. I'm pretty sure its the heater matrix behind here, so you'll have to look elsewhere... although here's a possible solultion,

Pioneed have a double din head unit (called the appradio series) which hooks up to the iphone, i've read that following a few hacks you can basically run any app on the iphone though the head unit... so maybe this is an option..

Actually that "glove-box" idea is not that bad. Can you please post me links to some mouting kits or something i should use ?

Would really like to mount some carpc solution, but i have a spare tablet and 2din stilo adapter and Im sadly in no position to spent that much money :/
