My Stilo makes really annoying beeps when reversing due to faulty sensors. I fixed it once by cleaning them up and they worked for a week but they are now faulty again. I'm wondering if I can disable the system completely so that it don't make this high never ending beeps. I don't want it to complain in MAR either, full deactivation wanted!

I have a more complicated problem, I have a tow bar on the back of my Silo 2.4 Abarth and the reversing sensors (The 2 middle ones) pick it up as soon as I put the car in reverse, it is just one long tone until i take it out of reverse it does my head in when I am trying to reverse my caravan into a spot.

Any one have any ideas as i don't really want to disconnect the reversing sensors, the outside 2 working would be fine. Please help. Thank you.

No issues with the tow bar on my Stilo even with a large guard on it.

Have you fitted the tow bar, or was it on the car when you purchased it? If the latter then it might not be the tow bar, if the former you need to look at what one you've got fitted, and how its been fitted.
 
Hi I had it fitted after i bought the car so the only choice I have is to disconnect the relay in the boot but then that gives me no sensors !! thinking about it I don't have any because they go straight into the to close continuous mode anyway !!. Anyone else have any suggestions as to how I can disable to 2 middle sensors but leave the 2 outside ones live? :bang:
