My battery ran flat after I had broken down with a faulty clutch and had the hazards on too long. Now I've charged the batteryI have the enigne light on my dash and engine warning.

Its it a terrible coincidence that my clutch and engine have both gone at the same time or could this be connected to the battery running low?

If its been like that for a while get somebody to clear the faults

Cheers guys. Its only been a few days now. Its in the garage ATM getting a new clutch and the exhaust fixed. If it doesn't clear in a few days I'll look into it more.

Would I need to take it to a dealership to get faults cleared?

If car is in a garage to get other clutch work done would imagine these days they would have some type of code reader that could clear the fault light for you as even a basic cheap obd type will do for engine MIL lamp clearing. I have used a cheap obd in past for MIL engine fault lamp clearing in past,,so you can just ask the garage to check once they have done the clutch work and put everything back together which would of thought would be common practice these days, will only take them 5 minutes to plug a reader in and check fault lamp does not return before returning car back to you
Though would think as already posted the fault lamp will clear after 3 fault clear starts if garage will not assist you and return the car to you fault lamp free
