Am I correct in thinking you don't have a combination to turn off the service warning. You can do it yourself with Pugs using a combination of pressing the trip/clock button when turning the ignition.

That should help to get rid of the light and the little wrench you would have but not the message that will appear always on ignition, but that goes off on its own.

Cheers lads, it was the ignition one I was thinking of. Hey Ho, I will just have to live with it. Is this how to rid the spanner. Found this using google and what is the reset button? Its not like any car I have had before with the push button on the speedometer.

1) Ensure ignition key is turned off.

2) Press and hold the odometer reset button whilst turning the
ignition switch to the on position.

3) Keep the odometer reset button pressed for 10 seconds whilst the
service display counts down from 10 to 0. When the count down reaches zero the
spanner icon will vanish from the display and the service indicator will be
reset.

There is no reset button, google is wrong ;)

I believe the light (spanner) will stop appearing after 1000 miles have elapsed. The service overdue message can only be switched off via OBDC software. You can buy the software and connector cables or you can just ignore it as it goes off after a few seconds.
