My stilo states it has brake light failure... which bongs everytime i get in. Although a few times ive got in with no notification and once it said fail on the reg plate light. Brake lights are fine and so is the number plate but the front offise side light has a busted bulb. Im getting this bulb replaced by the dealer that sold me the car. Could this side light be causinf the error???

If there's an earth issue at either a front or rear lamp, any lamp will try to fond an alternative earth. That is likely to cause the ECU a headache. Clean up all the bulb connections and the lamp connectors and the earth to the body at each lamp.

Oh ok. Well its going back to the dealer i bought it from. Only had it a day. Perhaps the car has been sat for a while seems to be showing the tell tale signs... joyous times haha
