Hi All,
Some kind soul at Tesco kindly rammed into my drivers side front wing this morning denting the panel right at the front next to the headlight. I think the lug may have been damaged on the headlight also as it is a bit loose now. Fortunately I have a spare wing in the correct colour as a spare.
I would welcome any hints or tips for removal and refitting of the wing. My 3 door Stilo is also fitted with the body kit skirts so I presume this would have to be removed or detached at the front to do the job. Thanks.

I thought the front wings just bolted on, but the workshop manual says there are also some spot welds.

The headlamp will probably need new mounting bracket(s). They're available as a screw on kit from Fiat.

Hi! Do you know what kind of sealant should be use when replacing that front wing and where exactly? Thanks!

I think there is meant to be sealant where the wing sits on the sill, there's a bolt on the underside, two forward of the wheel behind the arch liner and the row of 4 or 5 hidden by the bonnet. One I didn't realise was there at the time when I changed mine was the one that goes through the bonnet hinge that holds it down tight, loosen the hinge bolt and lift slightly to give enough clearance to pull the wing free.
