Merry Christmas to one and all here.

There is s similar thread up and running at the moment, so rather than hijacking it I thought I'd create another.

Essentially my Stilo 1.2 actives' driver's door is temperamental when opening it from the inside and the passenger door now won't open at all.

This stems from when I decided to change the driver's side wing mirror, which went well although the driver's door became difficult to open from inside. It would normally open but I'd sometimes have to pull at it a few times or lock and unlock it via the button on the door. Now the passengers door won't open at all, which is hugely annoying since the interior locks automatically when we hit 20mph and the passenger has to be let out via the exterior door handle when stationary. They both open fine from the outside and lock fine.

I have disconnected the battery for almost an hour and have done the 'left left right' thing, but to no avail.

I've been advised that the central locking control unit could have gone, but before I part with any amount of money I'd just like some guidance as I fear this could be expensive to take to a garage or soul destroying trying to fix it myself.

Thanks in advance!

Checked that the back of the internal handle is attached to the rod?
