I have recently had my multiwagon rear bushes replaced for the 2nd time by the same local garage, whilst they were being done it also had new rear shocks. Still the rear suspension is thumping over bumps and has a slight rattling when not loaded. Its been back to the garage and they say they cant find anything wrong, but agree it sounds noisy.

Does anyone know a garage in the mids who really knows how to change these bushes correctly?

I've been using them for about four years, now... -- and they've never let me down. (In fact, one of the first jobs they did for me was re-bushing the suspension on my old Isuzu Bighorn....)
