Hi all, thanks to every one who helped me before, but new problem :bang::bang::bang: basically timing belt stripped teeth, fixed all valves new gaskets ect which cost a pretty penny, put back together and would not start. found out there was no spark done a diagnostics on car to find out the crank shaft sensor was at fault. replaced that to find out car still won't start still no spark. told to test components with multimeter so bought one not having a clue how to use it, so the question is how do you test thing i.e coil packs to see if there are working and dose anyone have any clue at all why the motor don't want to fire up all help will be massively appreciated, cheers, mike

Strangely, there is a thread here: https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/339100-1-8-16v-not-starting.html that was started yesterday with exactly the same work having been done, and exactly the same problem of no spark, and exactly the same diagnosis of crankshaft sensor, and exactly the same non starting problem. You may get some ideas as that thread progresses.

yes is same problem as that is my son who has posted asking he dont stay with me so dont know i had posted about his problem
