Hi my daughters 2003 stilo has a problem with the rear lights and wipers, when the brakes are applied the reversing lights come on (bit of a worry for the car behind) and when the front wipers are turned on the rear one goes off as well, any adeas on where to start lookin for the problem.
The battery was renewed in april so that shoud,nt be an issue.

Check the multi-earth connection behind the left side panel in the boot.

its a bad eath in the plug mine had this , it burned the Earth off the pins , so had to make new pins up

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply I,m looking at it this weekend so at least know where to start.

Hi had a look today and squirted some contact cleaner in it but it still has the same issue when reconnected, I have also tried to run a 2nd earth line across to the right hand side to see if this would cure it but again no luck.

Any other ideas would be welcome
