Hello!

Does anyone know if the caliper mounting bracket from a Stilo Abarth will fit into my 1.6 ? I am looking for a little front brake conversion and i am not really sure if will fit. Brake disc, pads, caliper and its mounting bracket...

Thanks!

Another thing to think about...

If it turns out it doesn't fit (which I actually don't know) and you need the abarth hub aswell, you also need the abarth shock (not spring), as the clamp is wider where the two bolts go in at the bottom.

Comparing the photos i've found on ebay, calipers are different. I think i'll just have to try it on and see what happens. Or to find a 2.4 and get some measurements first...

Update: it is a straight swap. Carriers, calipers, discs and pads from a Stilo Abarth will fit to a 1.6 hub(or 1.2 or 1.4 etc)

As far as i know difference between Abarth and other Stilo brakes (1.8/jtd/1.6...1.2) is that Abarth brake discs are thicker. (ignoring brake discs diameter between 1.2-2.4)
On the side note, i upgraded my 1.6 Stilo brakes as well (fronts only) I used Stilo 1.8 brake discs and Alfa Romeo 156 JTD calipers (with AR pads afc :D ) Straight swap. Also calipers looks slightly sportier than original Stilo ones :D
