*should* be as simple as putting in the ABS pump and ECU... and proxi aligning it in. im 80% sure its all that changed between the ASR and Non-ASR hardware wise... the rest of the system would be a software setting.

just make sure all the brake pipes line up to the correct wheel station but im pretty sure they do

this will only work with a proxy alignment with FES or MES because this software actually changes the configuration file inside the bodycomputer - this is crucial as the other nodes adapt their behaviour according to this file after a Proxy alignment.
Other diagnostic equipment like the Fiat Examiner tester can't do this because there is no option to change the configuration file of the bodycomputer.
Of course the correct parts have to be installed to the car (probably just the ASR ABS pump which contains the correct software) .

so if i did change the asr/abs pump over and the ecu it would work?

sorry for being blunt just a little confused XD

i never tried this myself but i think it should work - no need to change the engine ecu, just erase the car configuration in the ecu menu after you have changed the configuration in the bodycomputer (after fitting the ABS/ASR module)
After the first key- on the ecu will relearn the new configuration with ASR from the bodycomputer.
