General Recoating dash buttons...?

I've tried Magneti Marelli in Italy for a set of buttons. They wouldn't supply them but said if I sent the CN+ to them, they would fit them for €180 (EUR) plus return postage to the UK.

WOW €180... Least it can be my last option! if you still have a contact email... could you PM it to me dave? im assuming you did this some time ago might be worth another try!

This is the e-mail I received from Magneti Marelli when I wanted to buy some new buttons for one of my CN+s.

Hello Mr. David

I’m sorry , but we don’t sell the buttons about the Connect Nav +.
We have the laboratory of reparation , if you want you can send to our laboratory your Connect Nav+ And so we change the buttons. Normally the minimum cost is 180 euro.
If you are interesting I will explain to you where send.

Best regards

not if i wanted to keep the look and feel OEM which is what im after, im eyeing up a set of Blades and a climate control heaterbox/controls. pretty much going for MTs car (imitation is the biggest form of flattery) but im keeping my 1.6 lump. i want it OEM and tidy with the exception of white leds through out. hence why i want to replace the buttons.

how did you do the white led conversion, what do i need? i have a spare electric window panel and want to practice on that already started flocking parts after many trial and error lol but i like doing stuff myself lol

An absolute boat load of leds... a soldering iron... a set of small screwdrivers and a lot of patience... it takes HOURS
